It determines which USDT networks can be credited to this account now.
USDT on TRON is not the same deposit route as USDT on Ethereum, Solana, or Arbitrum.
The authenticated withdrawal preview is the transaction-specific fee quote.
Keep it until OKX credits the deposit.
Reference figures
Verify on the platform before sending| Candidate | Use when | Do not use when | Final check |
|---|---|---|---|
| TRON (TRC20) | Both screens explicitly show USDT–TRON | OKX deposit is suspended or destination requires another chain | T-address, minimum, Binance fee |
| Arbitrum One | USDT–Arbitrum is enabled on both platforms | The screen only says Ethereum/ERC20 | Exact chain name and token |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | The destination needs Ethereum USDT | Its quoted fee is disproportionate to the transfer | ERC20 selection and net received |
| Solana | Both screens explicitly list USDT–Solana | Only SOL deposits are listed | USDT token support, not merely SOL support |
Choose from the OKX deposit screen
A route exists only when OKX can credit USDT on the chosen network and Binance can withdraw it. Start with Assets > Deposit on OKX, select USDT, and record the exact network label, address, minimum deposit, and any warning shown for your account.
Do not substitute a similarly named chain or infer token support from support for the chain's native coin. A platform may accept SOL without accepting USDT on Solana, for example.
Enter the Binance withdrawal safely
In Binance, select Withdraw Crypto and choose USDT. Paste the address copied from OKX, then select the network that matches the OKX deposit screen character for character. Binance warns that the selected network must be compatible with the destination address.
Read the authenticated preview before authorizing: it contains the current fee, minimum, amount deducted, and estimated amount sent. Published figures elsewhere are not a transaction quote.
- Confirm the destination is OKX and the asset is USDT.
- Compare the first and last characters after pasting the address.
- Complete Binance security checks only in the official app or website.
- Save the withdrawal record and TxID.
Decide whether this route fits
This direct exchange-to-exchange route fits when the balance already sits on Binance and the goal is to fund an OKX account without trading or bridging. It can avoid an extra wallet hop and a second on-chain fee.
Do not use it when OKX does not offer the required network, either platform reports maintenance, the amount is below a displayed minimum, or your jurisdiction or account is not eligible for the relevant service.
Use a test transfer intentionally
A small test can reduce address and network-selection risk for a new route, but it is not automatically economical. A fixed withdrawal fee applies again to the main transfer, and the test itself must clear both platforms' minimums.
After the test is credited, reopen the deposit screen before the main transfer. Do not assume that a previous successful route guarantees current availability.
Diagnose a delayed deposit
If Binance still shows Processing and no TxID exists, the transfer has not yet become an on-chain transaction. If Binance shows Completed, open the TxID in the appropriate block explorer and check confirmations before contacting OKX.
A confirmed transaction is not proof that OKX can credit an unsupported network. Give OKX support the TxID, asset, network, amount, destination address, and screenshots; never give anyone a seed phrase, password, or verification code.
What the estimate does and does not mean
Treat a public comparison as a planning aid. Exchange withdrawal fees are set or adjusted by the platform and can differ from raw blockchain transaction costs. Network status, minimums, compliance checks, and processing time can also change.
The amount and conditions shown by Binance immediately before confirmation govern the withdrawal. Recalculate if the asset, amount, network, source account, or destination changes.
Questions people ask
What should you know before transferring USDT?
Can I send USDT directly from Binance to OKX?
Yes, if the same USDT network is enabled for withdrawal on Binance and deposit on OKX for your accounts. Begin at the OKX deposit screen and match its network exactly.
Which network is cheapest?
There is no permanent answer. Compare the current Binance withdrawal preview across networks that OKX currently accepts, then consider the net amount received and the chain you need after arrival.
Should I include a memo or tag?
Only when the OKX deposit screen explicitly supplies one. If it does, copy both the address and memo/tag; if it does not, do not invent one.
What if Binance says Completed but OKX shows nothing?
Use the TxID to check the network and confirmations, then submit the exact transaction details through OKX's official deposit support flow.
How much does it cost to transfer USDT from Binance to OKX?
The cost is the Binance withdrawal fee for the network you select, plus any later conversion needed at OKX. Select the address, network, and amount in Binance, then treat its final authenticated preview as the current quote.
How long does a Binance-to-OKX USDT transfer take?
Total time includes Binance processing, blockchain confirmations, and OKX crediting. If a TxID exists, check it on the correct explorer; if it is confirmed but still not credited, give that TxID to OKX support.
